Collingwood will have two live selections at this Saturday’s AFL Draft meeting at Telstra Dome.

After trading its first round selection – pick 14 – for promising former Brisbane ruckman Cameron Wood, Collingwood will use selections 31 and 47 after committing its fourth round pick, No. 61, to father-son selection Jaxson Barham.

After the retirements of Nathan Buckley, James Clement and Paul Licuria, the trading of Ben Davies, the delisting of Guy Richards and the rookie elevation of Martin Clarke, Collingwood has two places still to fill on its senior list.

With Scott Burns and Anthony Rocca nominated as veterans outside the primary list, it means Collingwood can actually have 40 players on its senior list, including Burns and Rocca, instead of 38, but can only list four rookies.

Clubs which have 38 senior-listed players are allowed six rookie-listed players.

Collingwood will retain Brent Macaffer and Sharrod Wellingham on its rookie list, having delisted Daniel Nicholls, while the club has already committed to placing young Irishman Kevin Dyas on its rookie list at the Rookie Draft meeting on December 11, meaning there is one rookie spot to fill.

The final selection order for the 2007 AFL Draft was determined after the second club list lodgement on Friday 16 November.
