COLLINGWOOD FOOTBALL CLUB COMMUNITY CENTRE
VICTORIA PARK
The Collingwood Football Club has a strong history of supporting and building relationships with a number of community groups and organisations, and has made a commitment to further developing these relationships with the emergence of a Community Centre at Victoria Park – the club’s traditional home.
In May 2011 the Yarra City Council formally approved for the Collingwood Football Club Foundation (CFCF) to establish a new Community Centre at Victoria Park. Once complete, the CFCF will strive for the Centre to be one of the largest and most successful community service centres in Australia.
The Centre will be located in the Bob Rose Social Club Building at Victoria Park, providing extensive office space, access to major sporting facilities, and situated near parkland and public transport.
The CFCF endeavours to raise funds for the Community Centre, its tenants and their community programs and activities at Victoria Park. The Foundation is currently seeking tenants and organisations to be involved, particularly those making a significant and meaningful contribution to young people in the community.
