CFC FOUNDATION CHARITY POLICY

The Collingwood Football Club Foundation endeavours to assist community organisations in their fund raising by providing access to signed merchandise, match hospitality, CFC match tickets and special money can’t buy experiences where possible.

The CFC Foundation also raises funds to support the Collingwood Football Club Community Centre and specific CFC Foundation programs and projects.
 
Please note that the Collingwood Football Club Foundation is a delivery organisation and does not accept applications for financial grants.

Due to the high volume of donation requests we receive, the Collingwood Football Club have implemented a formal policy for fulfilling the requests when possible.

While the Club endeavours to provide support to the community, we are unable to successfully fulfil every request due to the high demand the club receives. Under some circumstances organisations will have the opportunity to purchase a signed item for charitable fundraising only.

Please note that club does not generally fulfil private requests for signed merchandise. All members and supporters are encouraged to attend training where players may be available to sign.

If your organisation is interested in a donation please adhere to the below criteria and the club will respond to your correspondence within six weeks of receiving your request.

Charity/non-profit organisation fundraising requests
All requests must be in writing and must include the following
  • Organisation’s name, postal address, and logo (letterhead is preferred)
  • The name and date of the event
  • You must advise how fundraising proceeds will be used
Please note monetary donations and sponsorship requests from organisations are not accepted.

Collingwood Football Club does not accept any merchandise sent to us for signing. All items will be returned unsigned (alternatively you can attend an open training session training where the players may be able to sign).
 
Due to the high number of requests, please allow up to six (6) weeks processing time after receiving the request.
