There is a distinct buzz about Australian football in South Australia in 2014 as the new-look Adelaide Oval hosts its first full season of AFL football.

Collingwood’s inaugural match at the venue will be held in round nine on Thursday 15 May, and is sure to attract a big crowd at the 53,000-seat venue ground.

The Magpies will be keen to continue their winning ways against the Pride of South Australia in their home state. In 15 games at Football Park between 1991 and 2012, Collingwood held a 9-6 winning record in matches against the Crows.

The game against Brenton Sanderson’s Crows will give supporters the ideal opportunity to watch the team at a state of the art venue while enjoying a mid-season getaway.

Magpie fans can book their match ticket and accommodation packages, with flights if required, through Pie in the Sky Travel, meaning 100 per cent of the profits stay within the club.
