Wingman Clinton Young is free to take on Port Adelaide after being cleared of striking Adelaide's Brodie Smith during Sunday's loss.

Young was reported by a field umpire during the match but the AFL's Match Review Panel's assessment of the incident found that the left footer has no case to answer.

Young won 13 disposals and recorded two rebound 50s against the Crows.

The AFL's Match Review Panel released the following assessment of the Young-Smith incident:
The match day report laid against Collingwood’s Clinton Young for striking the Adelaide Crows’ Brodie Smith was assessed. After speaking to the umpire who laid the report, receiving a medical report from the Adelaide Crows Football Club and reviewing all available footage, it was determined the force used in the contact was below that required to constitute a reportable offence. No further action was taken.
