One of football’s great traditions will return to the MCG each Sunday in season 2015.

Fans will be able to emulate their heroes on the hallowed MCG turf for kick-to-kick at the conclusion of every Sunday game this year.

Collingwood is set to feature in three Sunday games at the ‘G this season.

The first opportunity will arise against old rivals Richmond in round seven, before home games against North Melbourne in round nine and Greater Western Sydney in round 11.

“The AFL has been working on a range of initiatives with clubs and venues to make AFL matches more accessible, more affordable and more fun for supporters in 2015,” said AFL General Manager Clubs and AFL Operations Travis Auld.

“The fans have told us that the tradition of having a kick on the ground after a match remains very popular and as such we have placed a high priority on working with both Etihad Stadium and the MCG to see this activity return in 2015.”
