The accolades keep coming for Paul Seedsman after his dominant performance against the Bombers on ANZAC Day.

The media viewed Seedsman as the best player on the ground as he received unanimous votes from the all three judges to win the ANZAC Day Medal for the player that most embodies the ANZAC spirit.

With the medal now proudly in the possession of the lifelong Collingwood supporter, the 23-year-old can also take encouragement from his performance being recognised by the participating coaches.

Nathan Buckley and James Hird awarded Seedsman’s 31-disposal performance eight out of a possible ten votes in the AFL Coaches Association Champion Player of the Year award.

After Dane Swan tallied a record 15 inside 50s last weekend against St Kilda, Seedsman took note and this week sent the ball inside 50 a career-high 14 times.

"Today he was very good and played his role extremely well, but we need that consistency now,” Collingwood captain Scott Pendlebury told reporters post-game.

“Hopefully this game kick-starts Seeds' career.”

Pendlebury was also very good in front of the 88,395 that witnessed this year’s ANZAC Day clash. He polled seven votes to take a position amongst the competition leaderboard.

The Collingwood skipper has recorded votes in every game this season to sit seventh after four rounds.

A number of impressive performances on ANZAC Day was reflected in the voting with neither coach able to settle on a clear standout.

After missing round three with a toe complaint, Taylor Adams received four votes for his 29-disposal disposal performance in the midfield.

Despite spending four years as a Magpie, Marley Williams finally received his first opportunity to take the field against the Bombers on ANZAC Day.

Williams collected his highest disposal count since round 22, 2013 and was awarded one vote for his 22-possession performance.

Tyson Goldsack rounded out the voting for the Magpies players as he was given one vote for a game which included 11 disposals and a career-high five contested marks.
