As far as country visits go, a trip to Ferny Creek in Melbourne's Yarra Ranges is hardly one of the longest.

However the case can be made that this adventure was one of the funnest.

Dane Swan, Jamie Elliott and Corey Gault made the trip to Ferny Creek Primary School, where they were greeted by dozens of enthusiastic school kids.

Adding to the surprise was even more of Swan and Elliott. Samples of the pair's AFL Micro-Figure dolls, as well as larger inflatable versions were on show at the early afternoon clinic.

Collingwood Media was on hand to capture the action. The best photos from the session can be seen in the gallery below.

The sun was out and the cameras were rolling as Swan, Elliott and Gault led a coaching clinic.

We've seen Jamie Elliott take marks over plenty of opponents before... but this is something new.

Who better to learn off than the champion himself.

Elliott makes some new friends...

...And then gets to know the new version of himself.

Not sure if the match review panel would agree with this little girl's actions.

Jamie dolls for everyone.

Question time to conclude the session.
