Plenty have had an opinion on the colourful football career of Dane Swan.

In fact in 258 games, the 2011 Brownlow Medallist created probably just as many headlines.

It all came to an end in 2016 when Swan suffered a foot injury that would go on to end his famous ride in the Black and White.

Throughout the season, Collingwood Media was there for every step, waddle and limp of Swan’s journey.

From the devastating night in Sydney, to his surgery itself. From his tattoo parlour, to a candid retirement speech to his teammates.

Everything was captured.

Now with Swan anticipating his last appearance as a player, at the 2016 Copeland Trophy, Collingwood Media will release the story of the season.

Listen to words from Swan as he contemplates what lies ahead, while also hearing from parents Bill and Deidre, partner Taylor Wilson, teammates Ben Johnson and Chris Tarrant, manager Liam Pickering and respected AFL journalist Mike Sheahan.

The documentary is called ‘Last Call’ and it will premiere on collingwoodfc.com.au at 7pm on Thursday 6 October.

Look out for the hashtag #36LastCall on Collingwood’s social media channels in the lead up for more previews and teasers of Dane Swan’s final year in the Black and White.
