After a two-week headstart, Collingwood's younger players had company as they showed for training on Monday morning. 

Returning were the senior members of the 2018 list, from 32-year-old Daniel Wells, to the likes of Brodie Grundy and Tim Broomhead who have only this year been at the club long enough for an extra fortnight away from the Holden Centre. 

Captain Scott Pendlebury trained, albeit with a brace on his finger designed to protect a finger broken in the recent International Rules series against Ireland.
