Collingwood forward Sarah D’Arcy has been offered a three-match suspension by the Match Review Panel, with the option to miss two weeks with an early plea.

D’Arcy was reported for kicking Carlton midfielder Sarah Hosking during the third quarter of the AFL Women's season opener on Friday night.

The MRP labelled the incident as intentional with medium impact to the groin.

With an early plea, the 22-year-old will miss two matches and can expect to be available to return for the team’s round four clash against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park.

The club is expected to make a decision by Tuesday morning.
