In-form forward Jordan De Goey has been rewarded for his dominant performance against St Kilda with 10 votes in the AFL Coaches' Association Champion Player of the Year award.

De Goey kicked six goals in a dazzling performance against the Saints, and his effort has made him the Magpies' equal-leading goalkicker, alongside Will Hoskin-Elliott.

De Goey and Hoskin-Elliott have both kicked 15 goals for the season, although De Goey's haul has come in just six games.

Tom Phillips, Scott Pendlebury, Jeremy Howe and Steele Sidebottom were the other Collingwood players to poll votes.

Sidebottom sits ninth on the leaderboard, 15 votes behind the leader, Fremantle superstar Nat Fyfe.
