Update: Moore's hamstring

Moore's hamstring concern Collingwood defender Darcy Moore left the field with a hamstring injury during his side's loss to Sydney in round 20, 2018.

The 2018 season remains alive for Collingwood defender Darcy Moore, who suffered a hamstring injury in the second quarter of the match against Sydney at the SCG last Saturday night.

Scans today confirmed a strain of Moore’s right hamstring.

“The significance of the injury being in the right leg is that it is not related to Darcy’s recent history,” Collingwood’s General Manager of Football, Geoff Walsh, said.

“It is a new injury, to the opposite leg Darcy has recently had issues with, which means that it can be treated as a standard hamstring strain.

“Darcy will now get into his rehabilitation program and look to be back before our season concludes.”

On Saturday Moore was playing his seventh match of 2018, having made his way back into the team in round 19 against Richmond.

Darcy Moore has played seven games in season 2018.
