Collingwood has confirmed its coaching panel for the 2019 AFLW season.

Returning to their positions are assistant coaches Chloe McMillian (backs), Matthew Jones (forwards) and Lynden Dunn (midfield).

Arriving at the Holden Centre is Lachlan Harris, who will fill the newly created head of development role.

Harris previously oversaw the Western Australian Youth Girls Academy as well as the South Fremantle women’s development squad.

Most recently, he was the community programs Coordinator with the Brisbane Lions men’s program.

“The creation of the Head of Development role will allow us to focus on improving our general footy skills both as individual players and as a team,” Collingwood’s AFLW head coach, Wayne Siekman, said.

Collingwood’s VFLW head coach, and VFL Coach of the Year, Penny Cula-Reid, will assist Harris as a development coach.

After her season-ending injury, 2018 AFLW Rising Star and Collingwood best and fairest, Chloe Molloy, will take on the role of opposition analyst alongside performance analyst Jess Burger.

“It’s great to see the elevation of those familiar faces into those new coaching positions, especially because they have those relationships with the team and have the trust of the players,” Siekman said.
