In front of 150 close family and friends, Collingwood skipper Nick Maxwell tied the knot with his longtime partner Erin last weekend at the picturesque Gurragawee retreat, located in the surrounds of the Byron Bay Hinterland.

Several teammates and their partners attended the ceremony including Josh Fraser, Shane O’Bree, Simon Prestigiacomo, Nathan Brown, Dale Thomas, Scott Pendlebury and Sharrod Wellingham. 

New assistant coach and former captain Nathan Buckley also made up the entourage as well as president Eddie McGuire and CEO Gary Pert.

The club congratulates Nick and Erin on the start of their new life together.



Nick was adamant that he would wear thongs during the ceremony.
