Beveridge's assessment on the AFL-listed players (includes Tom Young)

3.  John McCarthy (12k, 11h, 10m, 1g, 3t): Productive for three quarters.  10 marks in offensive transition.

6.  Tyson Goldsack (8k, 11h, 2m, 9t): Solid four-quarter effort.  Consistently covered more than one opponent.  Intensity level superior to VFL.

9.  John Anthony (9k, 7h, 7m, 1g, 4t): Plenty of inside-50 contests but a tough day for Jack.

11.  Shane O’Bree (10k, 12h, 1m, 5t): Acclimatising to VFL, he would have expected more output from his work.

19.  Cameron Wood (15k, 5h, 8m, 1g, 2t): Worked into the game.  Covered more ground than the week before in a solid second half.

27.  Jarrad Blight (10k, 10h, 5m, 3t): Played back. Intensity and speed was good.  He would have liked to have used the ball better.

29.  Ryan Cook (11k, 8h, 7m, 4t): Worked into the game late.  Not his normal productive game.

37. Luke Rounds (6k, 3h, 2m, 1g, 2t):  Good four-quarter defensive pressure as a small/medium forward.  Worked hard the whole game.

38.  Scott Reed (6k, 5h, 2m, 4t): Worked hard when the ball was in opposition hands, looking to improve in the other phases this week.

41.  Simon Buckley (12k, 13h, 4m, 1g, 4t): Making steady ground and contributed solidly from half back.

43.  Jaxson Barham (14k, 7h, 1m, 1g, 6t): Worked extremely hard all game, died out in the last quarter possession-wise.  Our best contributor up until three quarter time.

44.  Lachlan Keffe (4k, 5h, 4m, 4t): Strong up until halftime when he copped one in a marking collision.

45.  Tom Hunter (8k, 11h, 3m, 3t): Terrific first half.  Won the ball back for us.  Used the ball effectively.

47.  Jarryd Blair (11k, 19h, 1g, 3t): Tried hard for four quarters.  Effective and once again ran very hard both ways.

48.  Jack Carter (7k, 3h, 6m): Another learning day for Jack.  Better with his positioning as a tall back.

49.  Tom Young (7k, 5h, 4m, 3t): Solid defensive game for four quarters.

50.  Shae McNamara (5k, 4h, 1m, 1g): Another reasonable day as a tall forward/ruck.
