The Player - Plays in a similar style to Sydney legend and fellow Irishman Tadhg Kennelly with his athletic rebound from half back. Has plenty of courage and a strong attack on the ball. Developed into a disciplined player in the backline in his first year on the rookie list.

2011
Provided plenty of run and carry in 12 VFL matches in his first season of Australian Football before he succumbed to stress fractures in his foot. Was also hampered by a hernia operation. Showed he had a knack for finding the footy, averaging just under 15 disposals per game. Trained with Martin Clarke back in Ireland during the off-season in the lead up to 2012.

2010
Played Gaelic football for Kildare minors. Officially drafted to Collingwood with selection No. 81 in the Rookie Draft.

2009
Visited Collingwood for a trial, and signed a contract to commence as an International Rookie to begin at the end of 2010.
