The Player - The blond haired Stubbs spent most of his first season in the VFL at half forward, occasionally pushing up to the wing. Marks well on the lead, and at 187cm may represent an option as a third tall forward in attack as his body develops. The club has been wrapped with his approach to his second season after he was delisted and then added to the rookie list in December 2011.

2011
Played six VFL games for Collingwood in his first season on the senior list in 2011, kicking two goals. Was delisted in October after injuries blighted his 2011 campaign. The medium-sized forward trained with the club ahead of the Rookie Draft when he was redrafted with pick No. 53.

2010
Played for the Greater Western Sydney U18 team in the TAC Cup (five games, five goals) and represented NSW-ACT at the U18 National Championships mid-year. Was drafted to Collingwood with pick No. 77 in the National Draft after he was released by Hawthorn as an NSW Scholarship player.

2009
Played for the NSW U18 side in the TAC Cup competition as well as representing NSW-ACT at the U18 National Championships where he played three games and kicked four goals. Was listed by Hawthorn as a NSW Scholarship player.

2008
Represented the NSW-ACT side at the U16 National Championships in three games, kicking goals. Was a member of the AFL-AIS Academy intake.
