Cameron Wood will be sidelined for the next six weeks after sustaining an injury to his finger in the first quarter of the NAB Challenge match against Adelaide on Friday night.

Wood was forced to undergo surgery on Sunday to reattach his tendon to his ring finger on his left hand.
