Former Greater Western Sydney defender Tim Golds has received permission to train with Collingwood ahead of the National Draft.

Golds is one of eleven players granted permission to train with an AFL club in the next fortnight.

While he did not play a senior game in 2015, he played 19 for the Giants' NEAFL team, averaging 17.3 disposals at an efficiency 80.5 per cent.

The first-to-fourth year Magpies will return to training on Monday 9 November.
