AFLW practice match: Friday

Doco: Our Debut Take an inside look at Collingwood's groundbreaking inaugural AFL Women's league season. From round one disappointment to an exhilarating first victory, each moment is captured as we learn the stories behind this history-making group of footballers and support staff.

Collingwood's AFL Women's team will continue to fine tune its preparations for the new season with a practice match against Melbourne.

The match will be played at the Holden Centre on Friday evening, starting at 7.30pm. It will be played across the duration of four twenty-minute quarters.

Entry is free, though supporters are encouraged to travel via public transport. Large crowds are expected within the Olympic Park precinct due to the Australian Open, meaning car parking will be sparse.

The AFLW Magpies last met Melbourne in the second round of the inaugural season. The Magpies led by 19 points at half time, only to be overrun in the second half, eventually falling 19 points short.
