Three expert performers have started 2018 in the ball-winning ways we've come to expect in recent years.
Adam Treloar (32 disposals), Steele Sidebottom (30) and Scott Pendlebury (26) led all other Collingwood possession-getters in a disappointing 34-point loss to Hawthorn on Saturday night.
The pick of the bunch was arguably Sidebottom. The reigning Copeland Trophy winner used the ball at 70 per cent, and smartly kicked a goal on his non-preferred left foot at the Punt Road end in the second quarter.
Other performers to note include debutants Sam Murray (19 disposals from half back) and Jaidyn Stephenson (16 touches and four marks).
