Between episodes one and two of Collingwood Media’s Sports Galore vodcast, Adam Treloar had 30 kicks, 46 handballs, 76 disposals and won an ANZAC Day Medal.

It was pretty handy return in what was an eight-day break between stints on the microphone with co-host Mark Allen.

And while the star midfielders’ personal form cannot be questioned, Treloar is just as confident with what his teammates are bringing to the table.

Although the Magpies lost to Richmond in round six, the 25-year-old believes there were plenty of positives to take from the performance.

“To back it up four days later (after ANZAC Day) was quite tough,” Treloar said.

“It’s awesome that for three quarters, we had so much confidence in the way we were playing.

“Although they smashed us in the end, I don’t think it really did justice to how we played.

“We have all the confidence in the world that this is the start of something special.”

Sports Galore in 2018 includes question time from an audience watching LIVE on Collingwood’s official Facebook page. When pressed on the team’s turn in form later in the show, Treloar elaborated on the on-field bond shared between teammates.

“The confidence we have in the group is the most we’ve ever experienced,” he said.

“We just know what we’re going to get from each other when we go out there.

We’re playing for each other, not for ourselves.

“And we’re a tight group and we’re all buying into what we want to bring, and that’s defence and that’s what we’re doing really well.”
