Injuries: The latest on Moore

Injuries: News good for key trio Get the latest on three key Magpies from General Manager of Football Geoff Walsh as Collingwood prepares to take on Richmond in the Preliminary Final.

Darcy Moore continues to make good progress in his return from the hamstring injury that has kept him sidelined for the past six weeks.

Moore has not played a game at either AFL or VFL level since round 20, but is in line to take part in Collingwood’s main training session on Wednesday morning.

“Darcy has made some really good progress in the last three or four sessions,” General Manager of Football Geoff Walsh told Collingwood Media’s Injury Update.

“He may even join in full training tomorrow unencumbered, and there are signs that that may happen.

“It will come down to what his preparation has looked like in terms of the miles in his legs.”

Fortunately, there are no concerns for Jordan De Goey (ankle) and Brayden Sier (corkie), who are both fit to play on Friday night.

“Both of those boys won’t present any problems training on Wednesday and being declared fit.

“Everyone else – apart from our long-termers – is available for selection.”
