Irish recruits Anton Tohill and Mark Keane have begun settling into life as Collingwood players after touching down in Melbourne on Tuesday evening.

The pair had their first light session on Wednesday morning at the Holden Centre where they were put through their paces by the head of the Pies' academy, Tarkyn Lockyer.

"Great to see them come into the club this morning to get started," Lockyer told collingwoodfc.com.au.

"To be involved with their first day, and to see them along the first steps of their journey, is fantastic.

"Their heads will be spinning for the next couple of days, but we'll get them sorted out really quickly and they'll be fine."
