John Noble will make his Collingwood debut on Sunday against Footscray as one of several inclusions to the Magpies' side.

The mid-season draft pick-up has been made to wait patiently for his opportunity since crossing from the SANFL and will be raring to make an impact with his run and carry.

AFL-listers Flynn Appleby and Mark Keane are set to bolster the Pies' defence, returning from an ankle injury and suspension respectively.

Coach Jared Rivers will also give a debut to 23rd man Riley Smith.

The 200cm ruckman has played as an overage player in the NAB League with Eastern Ranges and will bring physicality to the middle for the Pies.
