Collingwood’s VFLW side will hit the road travelling to Morwell for its round seven clash against the Western Bulldogs on Saturday.
The Magpies return to the field after a dominant performance in last weekend’s 78-point victory over Darebin.
The impressive win saw the Pies swoop into top position on the ladder, knocking off the Bulldogs who suffered their first loss of the season, going down to Carlton by 16-points last Saturday.
Despite the loss, the Dogs remain a strong contender in the competition, sitting third on the ladder.
The match will mark only the second occasion the two teams have met since last year’s round four clash that saw the Pies walk away eight-point victors at Whitten Oval.
Eyes will likely be on the Dogs' AFLW players Kirsty Lamb, who racked up a total of 23 kicks in round six, and Ellie Blackburn, who tallied eight inside-50s.
Returning for the Pies are Collingwood AFLW listed players Sophie Casey and Sarah Dargan along with VFLW second-year players Ally Bild and Jasmine Ferguson.
