VFL Selection: Murph returns for do-or-die clash

Nathan Murphy will play his first game since round one of the VFL season

Collingwood’s final AFL selections will dictate which side takes the field for Sunday’s must-win clash against Northern Blues at Marvel Stadium.

The Magpies will need to win its remaining three matches to keep their slim finals chances alive, starting by turning the tables on the Blues.

Northern won a nail-biter when the teams met in round three when it kicked two red-time goals to snatch victory, in eerily similar fashion to its win in round 12 2018.

Nathan Murphy is a confirmed inclusion for the Pies. Murphy had had a frustrating season, with a combination of back and ankle injuries sidelining the rangy defender since round one against Coburg, in which he came from the field in the first minute.

Sunday’s clash against the Blues will be broadcast live on Channel 7.
