Collingwood has named its side to face the GWS Giants in Sunday’s invitational match at Victoria Park.
After several weeks off, both Sharni Layton and Sarah Dargan will return to the field alongside Chloe Molloy, Katie Lynch and Georgia Gourlay who have all been rested.
The team will also feature several second year VFLW Magpies including Katie Lee, Nicole Hales, Paige Nash, Jasmine Ferguson and Grace Buchan. The match will also give Irish recruit, Aisling Curley and Victorian U/18 representative, Gemma Lagioia the opportunity to show off their skills at the top level.
Canberra’s Jess Stramandinoli will also be injected into the Pies’ line up having made her VFLW debut for the Giants in their invitational match against Essendon earlier this season.
Bri Davey will miss Sunday’s match as she recovers from an injury to her left eye sustained in last week’s game against Carlton.
Please note this match will follow the VFL men’s game of Collingwood v Casey that will commence at 12pm.
