Four of Collingwood's young-guns have been named in the AFL Players Associations' AFLW 22Under22 Squad.

Jordyn Allen and Lauren Butler have been named down back, while Mikala Cann has been named in the midfield and Chloe Molloy in the forward line.

Third-year Magpies, Allen and Butler have played a key role in the Pies' defensive lineup in 2021. Unfortunately, the two 20-year-olds are set to sit out the remainder of the season due to the injury. This season they averaged nine (Allen) and 10 (Butler) disposals at an 80 per cent efficiency.

Cann was also drafted to the Pies at the end of the 2018 season. She has run out for every Pies' game this season so far averaging a 71-percentage disposal efficiency.

This is Molloy's second time on the Under22 squad and was named captain of the side last year. The 22-year-old has kicked 16 goals this season so far.

The fan-voted concept recognises the best 22 players aged 22 and under for the entirety of the AFLW season (including Grand Final day - April 18). For a player to be eligible fo the squad of 40, they were required to play more than 50 per cent of season games, equating to five matches.

Those selected in the final team are presented with a 22Under22 jumper.

Voting is open for seven days from April 7 to April 14 with the final team to be announced on the AFLPA’s digital channels on Tuesday, April 20.
