Collingwood has claimed its third minor premiership after Saturday’s 52-point win over Darebin.

The Pies got off to a strong start booting four goals in the opening term. They carried the momentum into the next three quarters and managed to put another seven majors on the board.

Mikala Cann and Joanna Lin were dominant up forward with three goals each, while Imogen Barnett also managed to boot two majors to put her in equal position with Casey’s Imogen Milford as the league’s leading goal kicker.

Chloe Molloy and Stacey Livingstone had solid performances in their first VFLW appearances for the year, both making contributions to the scoreboard.

Jaimee Lambert was again a standout in midfield and lead possessions with 26.

Saturday's win marks the Pies' 12th-straight victory this season and secures their position in top spot on the ladder. This season marks the third occasion the club has been crowned minor premiers, following the 2018 and 2019 seasons.

The undefeated Pies will face their biggest challenge yet in Geelong this Saturday. Currently sitting in second position, the Cats come off a nine-point loss to Carlton last weekend.
