The Collingwood Football Club has announced an operating profit before government revenue, depreciation and amortisation of $6,008,327 for the financial year ending October 31, 2023, with the final declared statutory result being a net profit of $7,565,982.

President Jeff Browne said it was important for Collingwood to continue to be a strong and profitable Club each year to allow it to give back to everyone connected to our Club.

“Firstly, on behalf of everyone at Collingwood, we thank our 106,470 Members and countless supporters for their dedication, unwavering commitment and loyalty to our Club. Their support is unlike any other and we will continue to better connect and engage with our supporters across the country,” Mr. Browne said.

“Over the last couple of years, we have gone through a significant amount of positive changes which has culminated in AFL Premiership success – it is important to note that while the Grand Final has had a positive impact on the Club’s financial result, we aspire to ensure our Club is financially strong no matter our on-field results.

“This strong financial position will allow us to continue to invest more in the following key pillars of our Club; our elite men’s and women’s football programs, our facilities and our community programs – the Magpie Nest program which currently has 43 houses while Magpies Nest Café has served over 120,000 meals this year – and as a Club, we will place greater focus on growing multicultural and Barrawarn Indigenous programs.

“A strong financial position also enables us to continue to upgrade our facilities to ensure they are at the forefront of the competition and allow our men and women athletes to be at their best on and off the field.

“On behalf of the Club, I extend sincere thanks to our premier partners, Emirates, KFC, La Trobe Financial, Nike, AIA Vitality and our AFLW Premier Partner Kangan Institute and all of our other corporate partners for their continued support of our Club.

“I also thank all members of our Board, AFL and AFLW players and staff at Collingwood as we look to further progress our Club in 2024.”
