Collingwood’s AFLW side will play their final pre-season hitout of the 2025 season with a clash against Port Adelaide at Alberton Oval on Sunday afternoon.

In the final dress rehearsal for the Thursday night season opener against Carlton on 14 August, the Magpie Army will get their first official look at the 2024 draft class, with father-daughter Violet Patterson, lively small forward Georgia Knight, and number one draft pick Ash Centra all set to feature.

Irish recruit Kellyann Hogan will also pull on the black and white stripes for the second time when she starts in the half forward role, after playing her first ever Australian rules match in last weekend’s match simulation against Essendon.

Kalinda Howarth, who spent her first season at Collingwood on the sidelines as she recovered from an ACL injury, has been named at centre half forward. Annie Lee will continue her return from a knee injury sustained in Round 1 last season after a successful hitout against Essendon last week.

Second-year Pie Georgia Clark will start in the backline, a move that was made in the off-season after spending her first year as a forward and new recruit Airlie Runnalls has been named on the wing alongside Sarah Rowe.

Newly appointed Collingwood AFLW Captain Ruby Schleicher will play in the midfield alongside fellow Inaugural Pie Brit Bonnici.

An extended interchange bench of eight players has been named.

Entry to Alberton Oval will be free to the public, with the match set to be streamed live and free on Collingwoodfc.com.au from 2:00pm AEST (1:30pm ACST).
