Collingwood v North Melbourne
Date: Saturday 9 March
Game time: 4.40pm
Location: Marvel Stadium
Gates Open: 3.40pm
Entry: FREE

Collingwood is preparing for a big challenge against North Melbourne in the first match of the inaugural AFL women’s double header at Marvel Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

This will be the first time the Magpies will face their former teammates Emma King, Moana Hope, Jessica Duffin and Jasmine Garner, who departed the club at the end of last season.

The Pies remain without a win after narrowly going down to the Blues by five-points last weekend in what was their most impressive game of the season so far.

The Kangaroos had a very strong start to the season, winning their first four games. But they’ll arrive at Marvel keen to atone for their first loss of the season, having gone down by 35-points to Adelaide last round.

This will be the Pies' final cross-conference match of the season.

The AFL Women’s first double-header will be played this weekend and it’s shaping up to be a fantastic event for the whole family!

Collingwood will take on North Melbourne from 4.40pm, before the Western Bulldogs square up to Melbourne at 7.10pm. Entry for both matches is free!

Family activities at Marvel Stadium

There will be loads of entertainment for the whole family including the Captain Marvel: Wall of Heroes interactive mural, Captain Marvel photo experience, Marvel Avenger’s obstacle course, a Code Like a Girl mobile classroom and plenty more (including competitions and giveaways!)
