Dayne Beams has been nominated for the Origin Goal of the Year.

Collingwood star Dayne Beams has been nominated for the Origin AFL Goal of the Year for his crafty goal against North Melbourne at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night.

Beams handballed the ball to teammate Steele Sidebottom after being closed down by oncoming Kangaroos opponents. His Collingwood teammate returned the favour, which forced Beams to throw it on the boot and curl through a magical goal.
