VFL Senior Coach Josh Fraser’s side will have just one change from its Round One win over Sandringham last week, with John Noble elevated to the senior side in the place of Oleg Markov.

Markov will play his first game at VFL level since April  last year and will assume a key leadership role in the backline.

The rest of the side remains unchanged from the opening game of the season which saw the Pies run out 28-point winners.

Young players Harvey Harrison, Ed Allan, and Joe Richards were all key in the win, with AFL Senior Coach Craig McRae impressed with what he saw at Moorabbin.

“I was wrapped with our VFL and Josh Fraser and all the gang, the way that they’ve set our young players up,” McRae said on Tuesday.

“They had a terrific performance in Round One, I went there energised by what I saw and left energised with what I saw.

“Young players are playing above the level… (Harvey) Harrison, Ed Allan’s showing some real signs, TJ (Tew Jiath).”

SSP recruits Lachie Sullivan (30 disposals) and Jack Bytel (26 disposals) will again line up through the midfield after impressive first outings for the Club, as will Ned Long after the 21-year-old recorded a whopping 17 tackles last week.

VFL-listed players Jedd Longmire and Cooper Macdonald will be the travelling emergencies for the tip to Queensland.
