Cycling around the Rocky Valley Lake was the task at hand for the first-to-four year Magpies on day three of the camp.

The Bogong High Plains Road stretches around the Lake from Falls Creek to the neighbouring town Omeo.  The group was required to cover a significant portion of the trip.

A strong southerly breeze made the trip out an easy task and it was upon return to camp that the muscles started to burn.

The stage winner was Alex Fasolo, who relished the conditions and would have been the first one back except for a flip over the handle bars on the final leg.  While Fasolo landed in the adjacent creek, he managed to only sustain a dent to the well-known ego.

The ride commenced on the wall of the Rocky Valley Dam.

Taylor Adams goes airborne along the route.

Tom Langdon paired designer shades with zinc.

The group touched up by the club's Instagram account.

Brodie Grundy is a riding enthusiast, so much so that he was the only player to BYO a helmet.

It was fitting to call him 'Cadel' at the end of the ride, even if the nickname was self-proclaimed.
