Collingwood father-son prospects Josh Daicos and Callum Brown have been named among 80 young footballers selected to attend the 2016 AFL Draft Combine.

The sons of Collingwood greats Peter Daicos and Gavin Brown have impressed throughout the TAC Cup season for the Oakleigh Chargers and Eastern Ranges respectively.

They both represented Vic Metro in the AFL’s national under 18s carnival earlier in the season.

Daicos averaged 11.3 disposals per game and kicked three goals in the carnival, while Brown averaged 19 touches in four games and was subsequently named in the Under-18 All Australian side.

Both have since returned to their clubs in an attempt to further their prospects of being selected during the AFL National Draft on November 25.

Another hopeful invited to attend the annual Draft Combine is South Australian Jonty Scharenberg.

Scharenberg is the brother of Magpie defender Matthew and will look to join his older sibling in the AFL ranks in 2017.
