No, our oval wasn't invaded by a rival team. But as royal blue beanies bobbed around the Holden Centre, you may have been mistake for thinking so. 

The real cause is a noble one. Each player and coach donned a beanie in support of former Melbourne coach Neale Daniher and the FightMND cause raising awareness and money for finding a cure to motor neuron disease.

Daniher himself was a visitor to the training session. Before his allegiances shift to his Red and Blues roots on Monday, he wished the players well and thanked him for their support of the growing charity event of the Big Freeze at the MCG.
