Jamie Elliott will play his first game in more than a month when he lines up in Collingwood's VFL game against Geelong at the Holden Centre on Sunday.
Elliott has been sidelined by a hamstring injury he suffered at training in early April, but he has built up his workload over the past couple of weeks and is ready to return to the field.
All the players named on the Magpies' extended bench for the AFL clash with the Cats - Jarryd Blair, Callum Brown, Sam Murray, Josh Daicos, Chris Mayne, Ben Crocker, Daniel Wells, Alex Fasolo - have been named in the VFL side.
The final VFL and AFL teams will be released on Friday evening.
