The Pies' clash with Richmond on Sunday yielded a host of interesting facts and figures ...

* Jordan De Goey had a night out, kicking a career-best six goals straight. He is now the equal-leader with Will Hoskin-Elliott in the race to become Collingwood's leading goalkicker this season. De Goey and Hoskin-Elliott have each kicked 15 goals, although De Goey has notched up his tally in six games, while Hoskin-Elliott has played in each of the Pies' nine matches.

* Steele Sidebottom racked up a game-high 38 disposals, in the process overtaking Adam Treloar as Collingwood's leading ball-winner in 2018. Sidebottom has collected a total of 284 disposals (the fifth-best tally in the AFL), while Treloar has gathered 279 touches (seventh-best in the competition). The Pies' third-best ball-winner is Tom Phillips, who has tallied 235 disposals this season.

* Collingwood's win on Saturday night snapped a two-game losing streak against St Kilda. But it also added to a record over the past nine seasons that very much favours the Pies. In its past 12 games against the Saints, Collingwood has won nine and drawn one.

* The royal wedding and the Saints' indifferent form seemed to take a toll on the attendance on Saturday night. The crowd of 33,994 was the lowest for a match between Collingwood and St Kilda since 30,065 saw the teams do battle at Waverley Park in round 18, 1996.

* Pies skipper Scott Pendlebury has now drawn level with his coach, Nathan Buckley, when it comes to games played for Collingwood. Pendlebury played his 260th game for the Pies on Saturday night. Buckley played 260 games for the club between 1994 and 2007. Bucks, of course, also played 20 games for the Brisbane Bears.
