Jeremy Howe has received eight votes in the AFL Coaches' Association Champion Player of the Year award after his great performance against Richmond on Sunday.

Howe finished the game with 30 disposals, 12 marks (including a screamer), eight rebound-50s and four tackles.

Adam Treloar, who finished with 42 disposals at 81 per cent efficiency, was the other Collingwood player to feature among the vote-getters.

Star Pies midfielder Steele Sidebottom is now second on the overall leaderboard.

Hawthorn ball-magnet Tom Mitchell leads the way.
