The AFL has announced that Carlton has made an offer to Collingwood's restricted free agent Dale Thomas.

The AFL has announced that the Carlton Football Club has made an offer to Collingwood's Dale Thomas, who is a restricted free agent.

As a result, Collingwood now has a three day period to determine whether or not it will match the offer.

Thomas has played 157 games for the Magpies since debuting for the club in round one, 2006.
