In 2013, the Collingwood Football Club is proud to once again be a part of the Peter Mac Cup, a prestigious match played annually since 1993 between Collingwood and Carlton.

As well as being a fierce battle between the two clubs, the Peter Mac Cup is also an opportunity for essential funds to be raised for the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.

The Centre is Australia’s only public hospital solely dedicated to cancer treatment, research and education.

To start what is sure to be an exciting week, the Peter MacCallum Cancer Foundation, Collingwood and Carlton Football Clubs with be holding a Peter Mac Cup Breakfast on Thursday 4 April in the Members Dining Room at the MCG.

This year’s breakfast will see senior coaches Nathan Buckley and Mick Malthouse join a senior player from each team to discuss the upcoming match and the big issues in today’s football.

There will also be an auction held with some fantastic items up for grabs.

For information on how to purchase tickets or a table please call (03) 9656 2754 or email events@petermac.org.
