> Peter Daicos at Collingwood Town Hall on Thoursday

Club legend and 1990 premiership hero Peter Daicos is extremely confident of a Collingwood victory ahead of the 2010 AFL Grand Final Replay on Saturday afternoon.

Daicos, who was meeting supporters at Collingwood Town Hall on Thursday, told CTV he believed the Pies have the power to knock out the Saints from the start of the match.

“If the Saints didn’t have Sam Fisher in that first quarter I think the Pies would have replicated what they did to the Cats in the preliminary final.

“In the end St Kilda did its homework.  They blanketed a lot of our boys.  I can’t seem them holding our midfield again.”?

Daicos added that his confidence is brimming and can foresee a Magpie win by a sizeable margin, something he thought was going to occur last week.

“I am still confident.  I don’t think my tip changes.

“As a supporter, it would have been nice to get a result our way last week but I am looking forward to another game.

“We have got that one (the draw) out of the way and maybe that drawn game will keep our boys in good stead and they will come out this week and play to their capabilities.

“They are close to it.  I am hoping they will play to their capabilities and if they do, I can see a comfortable Collingwood victory.”
