Following a close win by the Pies over the Tigers by 8 points in Round 4, after giving up a 54 point lead in the early part of the 3^rd quarter, the Pies are looking forward in taking on the Hawks and putting 4 quarters together.

The Hawks have had their first win of the competition over ladder leaders Essendon and have a hunger for more. The Pies will have to be on their best to overcome the newly fuelled Hawks team. The Hawks will be missing their Captain Peter Ogunyermi, who is sadly injured and out for the rest of the season.

The Pies will welcome back their big man and VC Brett Newman who was missed against the Tigers and will fit right back into the team as one of the more experienced players.

The ladder at the moment sees the Pies sitting second behind the Bombers who this week have the bye.
