Collingwood coach Nathan Buckley will celebrate a milestone when the Magpies take on Greater Western Sydney at Giants Stadium on Friday night.

Buckley will notch 450 games with the Pies as a player and coach.

His record is made up of 260 games as a player and 189 games so far as a coach. He will become the seventh person in VFL/AFL history to notch this mark.

Meanwhile, Pies skipper Scott Pendlebury will captain his 153rd game on Friday night, drawing level with Syd Coventry for the second-most matches as Collingwood captain.
