The Collingwood Football Club is thrilled to have received an extremely generous donation of cutting edge Ambient Lounge beanbags for the Magpie Nest Houses.

The Collingwood Football Club Foundation launched the Magpie Nest Housing Project in 2012, in partnership with the Salvation Army.

The Project aims to make a genuine difference to the lives of people experiencing homelessness by providing long-term affordable accommodation and mentoring support.

It targets people sleeping rough on the streets and living in unsafe rooming houses.

There are currently ten houses in Melbourne that are fully operational under the Magpie Nest Project.

The Collingwood Football Club Foundation hopes to expand the project further with a long-term goal of reaching 50 houses.

In August, Collingwood will launch the Magpie Nest at Hamadova Café in Bourke Street to provide further support to those doing it tough on the streets of Melbourne.

The Ambient Lounge beanbags will be of great use to tenants in the Magpie Nest houses.

Collingwood Football Club Foundation Ambassador Dane Swan said: "The tenants will be thrilled with these beanbags."

"They’re so comfy. I might even have to treat myself with a couple for my place".

The Ambient Lounges are comfortable and colourful and now available to all Collingwood supporters at a fantastic price.

Ambient Lounge are offering all supporters 20 per cent off their range at www.ambientlounge.com.au.
