A disappointing loss momentarily put aside, Collingwood's past greats mingled with current players at the Crown Palladium on Saturday night.

Flying in from Perth to Cairns and seemingly everywhere in between, old stories were shared freely throughout the function.

The purpose of the evening was to recognise the very best footballers to have pulled on the Black and White stripes, especially the newly recognised 25 members of the club's best 125 players.
