Alarms were heard ringing at 5.30 am throughout the cabins at Falls Creek as weary players and coaches gathered outside donned in the new Star Athletic range of training attire.

Fresh, crisp and frost were in attendance both as players and in the form of weather conditions.

A morning run out to the Rocky Valley Dam provided a serene backdrop for a boxing session run by Strength and Conditioning Coach Michael Dugina.

The premier bouts included Mason Cox up against Jonathon Marsh while Taylor Adams went toe to toe with Brodie Grundy.

As the sun rose from the East, so did the voices, as the players slugged it out for over an hour.

Before the town locals were tasting their first brew for the day, the team from the Westpac Centre had made it back to camp ready to tackle eggs on toast before returning to their pre-season work.
